I get so excited when I have a new Child or Teen room to design. I have a very vivid imagination and love the fact that it can run free!
I truly love creating special and magical spaces just for them and have so many brilliant storage solutions for the endless hordes of surmountable ‘stuff’ that children seem to have.
Case Study: Boho Chic Teen Girl
Design Brief: Create a Boho style grown-up room for a teenage girl that would last for many years, incorporating plenty of storage on a tiny budget.
Design Process: This room was a pleasure to design and shop for, with the focal point being that fabulous boucle bed with lots of underbed storage. I also adapted and revamped the existing furniture for a more grown up look and finally made that fabulous giant Boho wreath in matching colours to go above the bed.
